It was from an old, ruined building that we decided to take a chance and set out to discover the unknown, accepting a real challenge, extremely exciting and enticing: to build a local accommodation from SCRATCH! We only had "one rule," to do everything with the love, dedication and commitment we would put into "OUR OWN HOME!" That was how, in a family environment, we built our local accommodation "VILA MUNICÍPIO," built, decorated, arranged and prepared with all the comforts and care as if it were our home and where we would live! We had zero experience in the field of hospitality, accommodation, lodging, catering, it was never our cup of tea, but not even that dampened our enthusiasm and desire to move forward with this idea of doing something different and alternative, compared to our normal daily lives. But a challenge is just that, facing the unknown, stepping out of our comfort zone and trying to overcome obstacles by making them our strengths, without taboos or prejudices. It was and still is a lot of work, but it is our "baby," which we want to see grow despite the setbacks associated with the fact that the timing of the launch is not the best. We try to offer all the amenities you would have in your home, a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils and equipment (oven, microwave, coffee maker, glasses, plates, pots, etc.), 4K TV, air-conditioning, full bathroom, free Wi-Fi, in short... we know that traveling and staying away from home can also be tiring and disappointing experiences.......
