Little house in the Rice Field: Nature and Peace

Little house in the Rice Field: What you will find here is a little house, all alone, not a resort of some kind, just one house. It is located at 20 meters from a small river, and in the middle of rice fields, bordering a small village some 33 km from the town of Sakon Nakhon. I built the house to be in the middle of nature, and, since I live most of my life in Europe, I rent it out to people who appreciate this setting. The space What makes this place unique? It is a non-commercial setting where nature, off the grid existence and a peacefull setting in the middle of Thai rice fields are predominant. No tourism in the area, no bars, or nightlife, just plain old peace and quiet. Participation in the villages activities is always greatly appreciated by the way, but one is also gently left on his own if peace and quiet are preferred. Guest access The house is for the guest. There is a small kitchen on the veranda. Since it is off the grid water comes from the rain water tank, pumped up by a solar powered system. There is 220V but in limited quantity. The land just in front of the house is also a place where the guests can spend time. Sitting in the garden, or walking near the river is always possible. During your stay I am always online to help my guests. I speak write read Thai, and of course I am well known in the village. There are people I know who will for example take the guest to the house, offer them drinking water, and if needed other food stuffs. Through a phone which I provide, there is a wifi connection at 40 Baht per day. The signal is 4G and it is ok. Don't expect to watch youtubes online though, it is not fast enough for that. Other things to note In this location expect isolation, expect peace and quiet, expect that you are welcomed in Temples, expect honesty from the people around. Do not expect that you are treated like a tourist. Do not expect that the people speak English or any other language except Thai and the Loa dialect. With patience they will however do everything to understand you.
