There are fresh fruits, herbs, and odiferous flowers growing around the building. There is a path made from agate and colorful blue stones for edging. Inside has a big screen 65" Samsung TV with LG 420 watt sound bar and subwoofer along with Apple TV and high-speed wifi in each room. The water is filtered with triple inverse osmosis and UV. The rooms are adorned with local Panamanian art by Achu Kantule from the Guna Yala as well as Ricardo Sánchez Beitia, Braulio Matos, Eliezer Martinez, and Cesar Castillo Lino which are for sale to support the foundation, Save The Turtles Playa Venao. The terrace is easily equipped with a super relaxing hammock to pass the time comfortably swaying back and forth. A super nice, single-piece, almond wood picnic table with benches seats 8-10 people. Additionally, we have an outdoor shower to rinse off after a swim in the pool or the ocean. Other things to note Your host is the founder of Playa Venao's only Non-Profit (OBC -Organización con Base Comunitaria = Community Based Organization) registered in the Regional Offices of MIAMBIENTE in Las Tablas as “Tortugas Playa Venao” AKA Save The Turtles Playa Venao dedicated to helping revitalization, increasing the survival rate and conservation of marine turtles - mostly Olive Ridleys (Lepidochelys olivacea). To date, we have released over 50,000 baby turtles at Playa Venao in the last 3 years.
