Frangipani Ecolodge - Guesthouse

Welcome to Barbuda’s first Eco-Lodge, located on the northeast coast of our island that we call Frangipani Corner. We are a half-hour drive from the village (via a rugged road), set on one of the most striking spots on the Atlantic side of Barbuda, with 360° views of the sun setting and the moon rising. The space Frangipani Eco-Lodge is an off-grid retreat featuring two separate accommodations: a private cabin (sleeps 2) and a guesthouse (sleeps 4). Both are nestled in rugged natural surroundings, giving you privacy and a true connection to Barbuda’s wildlife and trails. Guests can choose the space that suits their adventure, whether it’s solo, couple, or group stays. The Guesthouse is a rugged, off-grid retreat set within Barbuda’s wild landscape. Designed for travelers who prefer trails over resorts, this guesthouse offers a grounded, nature-immersive stay surrounded by scrublands, native birdlife and the odd donkey or two. Powered by solar energy and intentionally simple, the space encourages guests to slow down and reconnect with the natural rhythms of the island. Mornings begin with birdsong, and evenings wind down under expansive dark skies. This is an ideal base for birdwatchers, hikers, eco-travelers, and those seeking a quiet, off-the-beaten-path experience. The Guesthouse is a two-bedroom property (sleeps 4). There is a small open plan kitchen with a gallery on the front and back for morning coffees and happy hour cocktails. Each bedroom has its own private gallery and ensuite bathroom. The bedrooms can be two king size beds, or one room can be converted to a twin room. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property which is approximately 10 acres of Barbudan countryside, adjacent to a beautiful, natural beach which is a three minute walk over sand dunes. The property is off the beaten track and quite secluded, but not far from the village. We also have one small Cabana sharing the property - you might have even stayed there already! You may want to meet our other guests or not, it's entirely up to you, but you can also book the Cabana (sleeps 2) to have more accomodation.
