I do not think that you will be able to find a more safe and secure place to be than anywhere in Oranjemund. Being a diamond protected area within a national park the security is of very high standard. The biggest concern will be the wild animals walking around town and along the main route towards town. Wild animals such as Oryx, Ostrich, Springbok etc., but nothing to be afraid of. The town is still in a development stage with limited shopping malls. The space At this stage we do have the necessary shops for all your daily needs from groceries, clothing, hardware etc. At Shepherds lodge we do have a full AL-LA-CART menu with breakfast,lunch and supper available.
