Seagull Cottage

Seagull Cottage is a rustic compact cottage for the younger visitor in the pristine village of Scarborough. It is a few minutes walk (one street) from the beach and restaurants serving wholesome vegan,vegetarian or meat dishes of a high standard or a restaurant and bar where you can have a fish braai and a drink with the locals. Once you arrive you don't need to leave again and can surf, dive, hike, run, kite, eat and drink to your heart's content. The space The cottage is compact (45 square meters) with the bedroom in the loft accessed by a ladder. The cottage leads on to a deck where you can enjoy a morning coffee or late afternoon drink. The deck leads on to the swimming pool which may also be used by guests staying in the main house. The cottage is not suitable for toddlers or children who cannot swim. It is also not suitable for more than two people which includes children. Guest access You can use the swimming pool and park your vehicle off road. We try not to book the main house at the same time as the cottage and will let you know if there are other visitors who will share the 6 metre swimming pool with you. Other things to note The rains came this winter so the water situation in Cape Town is much improved but we still ask our guests to use water in moderation.
