Sleeping up to six guests with the added convenience of a sofa bed in the living area, it is perfect for families, couples or friends seeking a tranquil escape surrounded by nature. Inside, the lodge features a bright, open-plan living space with cosy soft-furnishings, neutral tones and large windows that fill the room with natural light. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything needed for easy self-catering, while the dining space and comfortable lounge provide the ideal setting to unwind and enjoy slow, peaceful moments together. Patio doors lead directly out to the private terrace, where you can enjoy alfresco dining or slip into your own hot tub for a soothing soak after a day exploring the countryside. Whether it is a morning coffee outside or a relaxing evening under the stars, this outdoor space is designed for comfort and calm. The master bedroom offers a relaxing double bed and en-suite bathroom, while the second bedroom features twin beds, ideal for families. A second bathroom ensures convenience for all guests, and thoughtful touches throughout make the lodge feel instantly welcoming. Guests staying at Squirrel Lodge can also make the most of Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park’s on-site amenities, including its Bar & Grill, nine-hole golf course and scenic walking areas — the perfect base for a peaceful Yorkshire getaway. Guest access Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us. Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site. All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park
