My place is a cozy home tucked on the slopes of Zonwe Mountain in Bvumba (in Shona means “Mist”) overlooking the tropical low lands of Mozambique. It has great views and situated in a beautifully terraced flower garden. The setting is ideal for couples, business travelers, families and small groups with a desire to break away from the hustles of city life and take a back seat to enjoy the country side and be close to nature. Montana is indeed a home away from home. The space Perennial fresh water streams form from granite bolder surfaces. Numerous bird species abound from the Swinnerton’s robin to the Bateleur eagle providing fertile ground for the keen birdwatcher. There is something for every age group to discover and server memorable experience. Typically the early morning sun floods the sun lounge providing warmth that can be controlled by selectively opening windows to maintain the desired comfort. This lounge provides a memorable setting for the first informal meal of the day. Afternoon tea can be served by the poolside (swimming pool under repair) following a leisurely stroll in the flower garden. Spectacular Marindi Falls down the road on the big river roar during the rainy season to announce their presence. The balcony above the basement not only provides a view of Chicamba Dam in neighboring Mozambique but is also ideal for a sundowner glass of wine. Samango monkeys thrill when they drop by fruit trees close to the house. The day can be capped by a barbeque in the Azalea garden. This Space has unlimited options and choice. Guest access Guests have full access to a fully equipped kitchen with both electric and gas cookers, utensils and other appliances, dining room, two lounges, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Essentially the whole house is at their disposal during their stay.
