Three bedroom cottage on the sea, 2 minutes walk to Mayo Sailing Club and Rosmoney harbour. Set in a pretty and quiet location with spectacular views across the bay, the cottage sleeps 6 people. Spend cosy evenings by the fire after active days out on the nearby greenway, golf course, fishing or sailing. A 20 minute drive from Westport. 4.5 km cycle on scenic country roads to the Greenway. The space A true gem of a traditional Irish cottage located in the peaceful community of Rosmoney on the edge of Clew Bay. The cottage is impeccably restored, and is set back from the quiet road offering beautiful uninterrupted views of boats and water. Inside the cottage the master bedroom allows a wonderful view of the water, while two additional bedrooms can sleep four in single beds. A traditional living room with fireplace and authentic calleach completes the front of the cottage, leading through to a large kitchen and dining room at the back. The kitchen is fully equipped, light and airy, and the dining area has a high ceiling and can comfortably seat up to 8 guests for meals. Two bathrooms, one next the master bedroom and another at the back of the house, complete the facilities. Guest access The entire property and surrounding garden Other things to note The cottage is set set on an acre and a half and has picnic space out the back and a bench out the front for taking in the sights. Parking is onsite. We don't promise that the house is childproof (stove in the living room, no child locks on cupboards, and proximity to the sea) but we do provide a highchair. We've recently been receiving a lot of enquiries about long term lets. Please not that the max rental term we can consider is about 3 months.
