This lovely newly built self-contained cottage is the perfect place to relax. Located 100km from Livingstone makes it accessible and a great place to stop and unwind if you are self driving. Quiet and tranquil , overlooking a dam and field of strawberries. Access to a pool and boat for fishing and sunset cruises. There is also a food menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For the foodies there is an option to do a cooking class with the local chef, produce is freshly sourced from the farm. The cottage is completely self contained and located about 200m from the main house, tucked in its own little sanctuary. It has 2 generous bedrooms, 1 bathroom and kitchen/lounge area, as well as a lovely outdoor braai/bbq area. The cottage also has its own wifi. There are now Bicycles available to rent. You can take yourself for a cycle around the farm or organize with your host for a guided tour . The cottage is 30km from Kalomo (towards Livingstone) 20km of tar and then 10km on a well maintained dirt road. Guests will need to get detailed directions when booking. There is also space for camper/caravans for an additional $5/person/night. Extra rooms available in the main house $15 per person. The cottage is self catering but there are food options that can be pre-ordered. When booking please let us know and we will send you the menu and prices. There is also a house keeper/cook (Venus) who will be happy to assist you with any questions and arrange laundry, meals etc and of course we are always around if you need further assistance. You can engage in a tour and explanation of farming activities Kalomo is a agricultural market town and has all the basics. There is a wonderful local market that is safe and fun to explore. Most of the goods on sale are everyday goods but you can also pick up local chitenges, which make great gifts. This property is off the road and is accessible to self drivers. However, if you would like to pre-arrange a pick up from Kalomo please let us know when booking. The road to the farm is accessible by 2wd, however in the rains it can be a bit muddy but it is still accessible.
