Clare Ecolodge is an historic house and has been in the Loughnane family for over 100 years. While being located in the centre of a small village there is a 12 acre farm which give guests the feeling of being in the middle of the countryside. The best of both worlds. Groups are invited to book the entire premises. Lots of quiet walking and cycling routes. Good pubs, friendly community. 10 minutes from Lough Derg, 20 mins to Ennis, 45 mins to Shannon airport. The space Clare Ecolodge is an historic house on the grounds of a 12 acre farm located in the centre of a quiet rural village in east Clare. Groups are invited to book the entire premises. There are five large bedrooms, a fully equipped industry standard kitchen, dining room, living room and a large outdoor gathering area. An open-plan multi-purpose room, and a restored 1920's shop, are available on request for an extra fee. The house is ideal for family gatherings, events, retreats and dinner parties. There is high speed fibre broadband throughout the house. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, bar a couple of private rooms used as storage. Guests are invited to walk the land, 12 acres of fields behind the house. Other things to note Lough Graney is a 10 minute drive away with good swimming spots and fishing. We are on the East Clare Walking Route and also have delightful local walks to entice you into the countryside!
