We are a French couple who fell in love with Grenada and decided to stay. We decided to build our own home, taking full advantage of Grenada's panoramic views of mountains, valleys and oceans. You will appreciate the peaceful and relaxing environment that comes from being surrounded by nature. Two bedrooms, each with their own full bathrooms. Full size kitchen has all the appliances: fridge, freezer, cooker, food mixers, coffee machine, toaster, etc. Laundry room. Bedroom doors open to large terrace with sofa, table, hammock and panoramic view of tropical vegetation, mountains and ocean. Included, apartment cleaning with linen change every Friday. We have designed our house with two separate apartments with separate entrances, but you are welcome to knock on our door if you need anything. Let us know when you are arriving at Maurice Bishop Airport, we can arrange for a taxi to pick you up. You will have everything planned for your first breakfast in your home. We can also give you advice and recommendations for restaurants, places of interest, beaches, shops, etc. Closest beach is 10 minutes away by car at La Sagesse. The world-famous Grand Anse beach in St George's is 20 minutes away. Le Phare Bleu restaurants is a 10 minute ride away and is located at one of the many local marinas. We recommend that you make a visit there on Friday night when they have a band playing on the moored light-ship. Finally, you must make a visit to our local ¨rum-shop¨ run by Mr Franklin with his reggae music and local customers. Road-side rum-shops are a typical part of the scenery of Grenada. To really enjoy Grenada, we advise you to rent a car and we will be pleased to help you with the process of getting a temporary driving license and car rental. Access to public transport in Grenada is not very easy because the mini-buses only run on the main arterial roads and there are no buses on Sundays. We have our own aviary with five parrots. You are welcome to bring your aperitif into the aviary with our friendly parrots. If you are nice, they may even talk with you in French.
