BROOK COTTAGE - MILL FARM COTTAGES - FOULKSMILLS

Brook Cottage built in the 1850's is one of three beautiful holiday cottages in the yard of the 19c Cornmill based on the family farm. The Mill and the Mill Cottages are in an enclosed courtyard setting, with the Mill overlooking the river Corack - opposite which is the village park. The farm animals are a big attraction for both adults and children alike, ginger nuts are a particular favourite of the donkeys, they look forward with gusto to holiday season! Barbeque/outdoor seating/playroom. The space Brook Cottage is perfect for a get away, whether you are looking for a quiet rural retreat or something more action packed it's all available. Horetown House Hotel is just a five minute drive from Mill Farm Cottages, with Wexford, New Ross & Enniscorthy Towns all within a 25 minutes drive; White's pub, in the village, is a five minute walk., the newly refurbished pub in Clongeen and grocery shop are a 2km distance from the cottages. Brook Cottage has three bedrooms - two with king size bed and the third, smaller bedroom has two single beds. Cot and highchair are available on request. There is a wet room and a separate w.c. Wi-fi is available - the strength of the signal may vary at times. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, delph and cutlery. The kitchen/cum living area has a balcony which overlooks the Mill Stream and the village park. Guests enjoy sitting out in the enclosed garden - playing games in the Games Room - family barbeque on the summer evenings with lots of outdoor seating and toys for children to play with. Adults guests can enjoy a walk along by the river bank through the fields and maybe even spot a fish or two along the way. There are some lovely walkways nearby as well, e.g. Carrigbyrne Hill, Tintern Abbey etc. Being one of three holiday cottages in the yard - the setting is perfect for larger family or friends gathering for a weekend/holiday away in a secluded part of the sunny south east. The large play room is perfect for evening entertainment and for children to meet up and make new friends. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house which has bathroom/kitchen/living area. They have access to the enclosed garden, play areas, play room, toys, outdoor seating and barbeque. There is a good stock of holiday 'reads' available for both children and adults alike. Unspoilt countryside and bird song just some of the many attractions for our guests. Other things to note The strength of the mobile phone signal and wifi can vary depending on the networks.
