Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime. The space A new cottage with new beds and furniture. There is an internet connection, a small fridge and a kettle for making tea. It's 24 square meters with full, private Bathroom. Beside the cottage is a service house with a fully equipped kitchen and a sitting area. In the kitchen/sitting area are 2 little stoves with oven, fridge and everything you need to prepare meals and dining tables with enough chairs.
