Your cottage is located on an historic estate belonging to counts dating back to the first sellters of the Island, it's exotic fruit farm, with manor house and Chapel, you will have lots to explore right here :) The space And if you like hiking you can take the old historic path down to the old pear of Faja do Mar where the counts used to receive their goods from by sea, and also travel out to other parts of the island. Near by, about 5 min by car, we have the yellow sand beach of Calheta, the marina, supermarket, restaurants and most services. Our guests mostly chose to rent a car, as Madeira is a very mountainis island it is not easy to get around by other means of transport, you can rent a car already from the airport.
