This place is a paradise located on the shores of Lake Izabal. If you love nature, you will fall in love with this beautiful enclosure, located in a private reserve. You will enjoy every sunrise among the soft and delicate sounds of hundreds of birds. The space This place is unique because it is in a very private ecosystem, recommended for those who want to share with family, friends and really want to rest... or also for those who enjoy adventure (highly recommended for families with children). It's a place for those who enjoy nature. Ideal for families or groups of up to 15 people, including children. The two houses are located about 40 meters from the lake shore, on a small hill and a moderate slope. It has 5 bedrooms, a dining room with natural ventilation and a spectacular view, a kitchen and a large area for hammocks (including 4). Check-in and check-out times can be accommodated to your requirements, as long as the changes do not interfere with the schedules of the next visitors. We recommend booking at least two nights for your stay, so you can really enjoy the place. Guest access There is an optional water shuttle service for arrival and departure, at a rate of US$30.00 per trip, by boat for 8 passengers and US$80.00 per trip, by boat for 12 passengers. Depending on the amount of luggage and things visitors carry with them, they may have to take an additional trip. If you have a boat and/or jet ski, there is no additional charge for using it and parking it and/or anchoring it. It has two full bathrooms (one outdoor shower). The kitchen is equipped with 2 refrigerators, microwave oven, gas stove, blender, dishwasher (traditional) and sink. There is cell phone coverage from Tigo, Claro and Movistar. The best signal is received from Tigo. The water is from a mountain spring and arrives by gravity throughout the day and night. Because it's a place to get away from normal city life, there's no television. You are allowed to bring your own sound equipment (iPods, etc.) and speakers. You can use the sidewalks that lead you to the Denny's Beach tourist center, which has a Restaurant and Bar service. The closest places to stock up on extra food and drinks are Mariscos (by water) and the Punta Brava village shop (accessible on foot or by water). Río Dulce is also 30 minutes away by water. The rooms of the house are always fumigated, after a visit by tenants. The garbage is collected daily by the guard, for which you are only required to place it in the central garbage deposit, which is in the house. Other things to note RECOMMENDED AGES Under 70 years of age; 70 years of age and over, unless in good physical condition. PEOPLE WITH PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS OR DISABILITIES The place is not recommended for people with physical limitations, especially motor limitations. The place does not have facilities for people with significant physical limitations, including people in wheelchairs. INTERNET Internet service is not included. It can be accessed from your own Tigo, Claro and Movistar cell phone plans. FAUNA Because it is a place located in a 100% natural ecosystem, there is the possibility of encountering a variety of insects, birds and frogs. In the extraordinary case of finding a non-domestic animal, in addition to those mentioned above, please notify the guardian immediately. WEATHER The property is located in a tropical coastal area, with the characteristics of its climate, including sunny days and also rainy days. TEMPERATURE The temperature in degrees Celsius ranges between 20 and 36, depending on the time of year. NATURAL PHENOMENA Izabal has not been an earthquake zone in the past and recent past. The property is located on the edge of the Caribbean area. The last natural effect perceived in the area was in 1998, when Hurricane Mitch caused 5 consecutive days of rain and wind, during the last days of October and the first day of November. CLEANING SERVICE (optional), This can be contracted for US$10 per day. This includes cleaning the common room areas (sweeping, mopping and dusting), garbage collection, washing and drying dishes. If you require the cleaning of the bedrooms and the making of beds to be included, it will be sufficient to indicate this to the cleaning person. TIPS It is recommended to leave a tip for the property guard once you leave. The amount is at the discretion of the visitors.
