Experience the tranquility of country life. A private 13X15 queen bedroom with beach decor in two story farmhouse. Overlooks the front pond with koi fish, dock and paddle boat on our 42 acre farm, creates a peaceful atmosphere to relax and connect with nature. Sheets, pillows, hangers, and extra blanket Ceiling fan, air conditioner, box fan. Full length mirror. Desk and chair right outside of room. Shared guest bath towels provided. This is one of the 3 rooms that we have available. The space You’ll be staying on a 42 acre farm with lake and lighted fountain and koi fish. Two story restored farmhouse. The bedroom is located on the second floor. Plenty of outdoor seating on front porch and the gazebo is the process of being repaired after coming down in a Hugh wind storm. There are gas and charcoal grills with umbrella table in back courtyard with hot tub. There is also a patio fire pit with seating. Firewood available for extra charge. Guest access You will have access to the large kitchen with brick wood burning fireplace and T.V. Dining room with gas fireplace, where most of time you’ll find a puzzle being assembled, please feel free to help. A small area off the dining room where we are creating a library. The living room has leather reclining couch and rocking reclining chairs, T.V. fireplace and window seat with view of side yard with plenty of bird feeders and stone patio with fire pit. During your stay This is our private home that we have been restoring for 30 years. We will most likely always be here to greet you in person and show you to your room and areas you’ll have access to including outdoors. We will be available to answer questions and meet your needs to the best of our ability. Other things to note We share our home with two Labrador retrievers. Zoe is three and Judah is two. They will bark when you pull in the driveway but make friends real fast. They are gentle and well behaved. We have a German Shepherd outdoors. Wildlife you may see while you’re here are deer, turkey, geese, ducks, eagle or blue heron and a few rabbits. We live in a rural area and we have a well for our water supply and septic tank. A well is a great source for natural minerals that come from the earth but well water also has its challenges which could possibly include iron, though not harmful could at times have an odor. We do use a water softener. Please be mindful that our house is over 250 years old, so its bones 😂 and joints creak and crack. So you will hear it. We do require a photo of the person or persons who will be staying in the room. Two of our rooms are located on the second which means there are steps to be navigated, if you have mobility difficulties this may not work for you. Our third bedroom room is located in the basement also requiring that you navigate steps.
