The Georgstor apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the over 300-year-old Posthalterhof. Freshly renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen on around 48 square meters, the apartment offers a great ambience. In addition to the spacious living/sleeping area, the sofa bed can be used for 2 more people. A large flat-screen TV and an Alexa are available. The apartment has a free parking space as well as an idyllic terrace with table and gas grill. All rooms have Wi-Fi. The space The Posthalterhof was built around 1683 as a postal station by Thurn and Taxis as a station between Cologne and Trier. In the middle of Blankenheim, less than 200 meters from the Ahrquelle, the Posthalterhof is one of the oldest buildings in Blankenheim. Located in the center of Blankenheim, right on the Eifelsteig and the Jacobsweg, it offers guests a place to stay, just like 300 years ago. On the large terrace, a private table and a gas grill are available for 4 people. The kitchen and bathroom are accessible via a small staircase, so the apartment is not barrier-free. Our new sauna area is ready. On about 70 square meters incl. lounge area, we offer all guests (3 apartments) the sauna and hot tub in the vaulted cellar, which is over 500 years old. The use is free of charge, but it must be reserved. The sauna area is available from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Each apartment can book this individually per day for up to 2.5 hours. From 9:00 pm, it is equally available to all guests. An appointment planner is available at check-in.
