Villa Starace is located just three kilometers from the beaches of Gallipoli, in a green oasis set in the typical Salento countryside. The space The villa, a witness to a great past, originally belonged to the Vetromile family of Gallipoli, from which it passed to the Staraces in 1880 following a marriage between members of the two families. Achille Starace, famous fascist hierarch, right-hand man of Benito Mussolini, made it in the 1920s/1930s a unique botanical park with plants from military campaigns in Africa. The structure of the villa is C-shaped, as the long two-storey central body has been flanked over time by two single-storey side wings, which also serve as terraces. Accurate restoration by the owners has preserved all the characteristic and refined original architectural elements, combining the elegance of the structure with all the comforts and tools of modern hospitality. Guest access Guests have access to a large citrus grove with an equipped patio, shared with guests staying in the other apartments. Other things to note Our guests can take advantage of free bicycles to be requested at check-in, subject to availability, upon release of a deposit of 30 euros that will be returned at the end of the stay.
