DAR TUS, a magnificent family riad, Tangier

Our riad is in the Medina, pedestrian area (parking 5 min walk), between the port and Kasbah square. It is suitable for hosting families and friends. Very quiet. Very bright. A true haven of peace, with 5 bedrooms upstairs. The space, very spacious (300 m2), also has a games room, with many games and toys for all ages, a piano, a guitar, books, comics… The living room with a fireplace area, a dining room, an open patio and a kitchen. The ground floor (110 m2) is reserved for common areas: living room, games room (with many toys, board games, books but also a piano and a guitar), dining room, patio and kitchen. On the second floor, 2 bedrooms with mezzanine, each accommodating 4 people (2 adults + 2 children) and a small bedroom for 1 person. On the terrace, 2 double bedrooms. The riad is above all very quiet, very relaxing, away from the noise of the street and the liveliness of the Medina. A true haven of peace. Once inside, you forget everything, you let yourself be carried away by the tranquility of the place. The magnificent canopy makes the riad a very bright space, many openings (including a patio on the ground floor) bring in air and sun, which is rare in this kind of house. The decoration was done with great care. The rooms each have their own bathroom and are equipped with heating but also Dyson, which allow air conditioning, both in summer, by producing cold air, and in winter, with hot air. Each room is personalized. Traditional cement tiles on the floor. Tadelakt bathrooms. We also wanted to make it a real place of rest, comfortable. All beds have high-quality mattresses and mattress toppers. Bed and table linens were created especially for this place. Elegant, sober and refined decoration. The first terrace, where you can get cozy for breakfast, lunch or dinner, in the sun or shade, is out of sight. For the view and the solarium, just go up to the beautiful roof terrace, which overlooks the medina and from where you can see Spain, Gibraltar, Cape Malabata and the entire city of Tangier. Spectacular day or night. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. If you wish, Latifa and Nadia can prepare excellent Moroccan dishes (about 20 euro for a full meal. 10 euro for children under 10)...
