Other things to note 🔹 Machiya Stay Guidelines This Machiya is a century-old wooden structure, so please keep noise levels low, especially after 10:00 PM. Do not drag luggage or heavy items across tatami floors, as they are delicate. No shoes indoors. Slippers are provided at the entrance. 🔹 Trash Sorting & Cleanliness Kyoto has strict waste sorting rules. Please follow the provided guidelines. Guests staying for a longer period should manage their own trash disposal. 🔹 No Smoking & Fire Use Restrictions Smoking is prohibited indoors & in the garden. Please use designated smoking areas.
