Cedar Cottage is a luxurious and spacious one bedroom cottage and is ideal for individuals, couples and families with a young child. The cottage has scenic open views of the Crubenbeg Lochan, fields, woods and mountains, and has French doors giving direct access to the private fenced patio and walled garden. The cottage provides all of the amenities required for a relaxing self-catering experience. The cottage is accessed through a heated hallway/porch (shared with Douglas Fir Cottage) where you can store your outdoor gear and boots. The open plan living room is cosy and offers all of the creature comforts of a home from home: - Leather sofa and upholstered armchair - Eco-friendly wood burning stove with large basket of logs - 32” HD satellite TV, DVD & portable stereo - Internet access via free-to-access WiFi broadband - South facing French doors giving access to the private fenced patio and walled garden The open plan kitchen has all of the equipment needed to self-cater in comfort, including: - Hob - Oven - Microwave - Fridge/freezer - Dishwasher - Cafetière - Blender - Welcome pack - Hand towel and dishcloths The bedroom is light and airy with: - Wooden king-size bed - Wooden single bed - Hypnos Superb Pillowtop mattress - Luxury linen - Hair dryer - Storage - Spare duvet and electric blanket The bathroom is en-suite with: - Bath with shower over - Wash basin - Toilet - Heated towel rail - Luxury bath sheets and hand towel - Complementary bath and shower products from the Highland Soap Company All of the above is included within the price. We can also supply travel cots and high chairs on request for a small charge if booked in advance. Like many properties in the Highlands, our water comes from a private supply. In our case this a natural spring high on Cruban Beag mountain. The spring water is treated on site and is tested regularly by Scottish Water on behalf of Highland Council to ensure that it complies with drinking water standards. Guest access Facilities On Site Gym The gym on site is well equipped with: - Treadmill - Concept 2 rowing machine - Exercise bike - Punch bag and boxing gloves - Squat rack and bench - Free weights - Dumbbells and kettlebells - Crossover symmetry shoulder exercise bands Sauna - 5/6 person traditional steam sauna Games Room The small games room is equipped with: - Football table - PlayStation 2 with a selection of games - Outdoor games Play Area The play area has a double swing and wendy house. Golf Practice Area The golf practice tee, clubs and balls are free to use. Mountain Bikes We have a number of hardtail mountain bikes and helmets available to borrow on a first come first served basis. We also offer bike washing and secure bike storage. Laundry Linen and towels are provided as standard. Laundry facilities are available and there is a communal washing line in the far corner of the garden. Ice Machine There is an ice machine in the laundry room. Barbecues We have a few barbecues, which are kept in the wood shed and you can borrow on a first come first served basis.
