This quaint little apartment is situated in a great location on the island of Great Exuma. You are only a 10 minute drive from the airport (code: GGT), about 5 minutes from Georgetown, walking distance to beautiful beaches, a food & liquor store, and hotel row with multiple restaurants and bars. Great Exuma has all kinds of things to do. The best ones involve the ocean, beaches, boating, relaxing and letting the fact that you're on a tiny island in the Caribbean wash over and revive you! The space This little space is perfect for a couple looking to save money on the fancy frills of a big resort and spend more time and money on the fun things they can do while they are enjoying Exuma. We can help schedule trips and/or book rentals through our company, Out-Island Explorers, for fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, charters and more. Guest access You'll have the one bedroom one bath apartment to yourself within the complex of other residents. You have access to the pool on the property, and are just across the street to a small beach, and a short walk to a beautiful, long beach called Jolly Hall. Other things to note We own and operate a local tour company called Out-Island Explorers. We can help you get out on the water and see the best sides of Exuma. We offer kayaking, sailing, snorkeling, fishing, camping, rentals, guided trips, and more. Please contact us if we can be of assistance with this side of your vacation as well! For those interested in seeing the famous Swimming Pigs... please note that we are located on the island that these trips launch from. We do not run these day trips ourselves. The apartment is about a 30-40 minutes drive from where the trips start and end. Some of the tour companies offer transportation shuttles for their trips and they would go right by the apartment. Although there is a lot to do right around the apartment, you'll definitely want to rent a car or scooter some while you're here so that you can get out and explore more of the island than just the immediate area. Although, you could easily spend a week in the apartment and make it just fine without having to go too far!
