At a time when there is so much that is challenging in our world, our Secret Garden Villa provides a safe and beautiful haven. Nestled within 3 acres of old growth tropical forest and gardens of lush poinciana and bougainvillea, in an upscale gated community, our villa is perfect for one or two, for writers and artists seeking inspiration and solitude, or simply those who want a staycation in a luxurious island environment. We welcome all. The space A dreamy king bed is at the center of our villa which looks out onto the gardens. It is completely self contained, with a small, light-filled kitchen, a shower and toilet ensuite, a desk, and ample sofas for relaxing. Sliding doors open onto a sparkling freshwater pool and from there wide open gardens with infinite varieties of plants, flowers, and birds. We are only a few miles away from restaurants and a state of the art cinema. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and wonderful for taking walks at sunset. Guest access The villa is just across the way from our home. You are welcome to the pool, the gazebo close by, and the gardens that stretch back through several acres of tropical forest to a small vegetable garden. We think of our gardens as a little bit of paradise. Other things to note Our property is on the western end of New Providence, in a gated community that is about 30 minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. As such, we recommend to all our guests to rent a car during your stay; this is key to being able to move about, obtain groceries, visit art galleries, beaches, and more. Additionally: It is important that guests note we cannot accommodate parties or gatherings of ANY size. The villa is suitable only for one to two people.
