Kibayo Lagoon Villa is nestled between a lush lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, perfectly located between Cabarete and Sosúa on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. The room is located on the 1st floor and offers a big secluded terrace. The room features a private bathroom with a rain shower, hot water, air conditioning and a comfy queen size bed and a sofa that can be used as a twin bed. Included in your stay: free Wi-Fi, drinking water, daily cleaning, access to the fully equipped outdoor kitchen, and use of our double kayak to explore the lagoon. Guest access You’ll have your own beautiful private room with a private terrace, plus access to all shared spaces in the villa: a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, hammock area, pool, garden with various seating areas, and BBQ. Enjoy our 1,500m² tropical garden with lagoon views and a multi-functional garden cabana. Free private parking is available. Cabarete can be reached by (rental)car, taxi and/or bus. Buses run from Santo Domingo, Las Terrenas, Santiago and Puerto Plata. We have parking lots on our property. Kibayo is situated next to a lake called Laguna Cabarete. Kite beach is within walking distance (500m), Encuentro Surf beach is within a 12 min drive, Playa Cabarete and Cabarete town are within a 7 min drive. A couple of restaurants, colmado's and bars are within walking distance. We’re happy to share tips on the best local spots, restaurants, and activities in Cabarete. Each room includes a ‘things to do’ folder with our personal recommendations. During your stay We’re happy to hear from you anytime! Since we live on the property, we’re always available for a chat, to hang out, or to share tips and tricks. Other things to note You’ll have access to a shared kitchen space where you can store your groceries and prepare meals. If you prefer, you can also order food or groceries and have them delivered directly to Kibayo. For your convenience, having transportation during your stay is recommended. We’re happy to arrange transportation for you upon request.
