Life at the AyiHostel is an immersive, educational experience. As a guest, you will gain a greater understanding of an African lifestyle in Techiman, Ghana. You are encouraged to live and volunteer at the Ayi Owen International School. As a volunteer, you will work alongside our teachers and students helping with tutoring and other activities. Short-term visitors are allowed. However, serious long-term volunteers are welcome to stay longer duration at a reduced rate. ​​​ The space The dormitory was built in 2013 to house incoming voluteers. For One World is linking foreign volunteers with students to promote cultural and educational experiences helping to build a global community. We hope to promote deeper understanding among students, teachers, and volunteers. We have received international volunteers for 20 years to assist the Ayi Owen International School. Guest access Volunteers will be able to access the school campus, as well as the tennis court. Because the hostel is a shared space; volunteers will share the common rooms and bathrooms, and depending on the demand for guests, a bedroom. Other things to note Guests are required to have an international passport. (Not from the country of Ghana)
