The main building has a full kitchen, living and dining area with half bath and flat screen television. Next to the main building through a breezeway is a Master Suite with an outdoor shower and free standing tub. On the opposite side of the main building are two additional master bedrooms with their own bathrooms with double sinks. Each room have luxurious King Size Beds. On the main deck overlooking the stunning Pacific Ocean is your own private dip pool as well. The Villa sleeps 3 couples comfortably. There are also 3 single beds available. You have access to the whole property. Our caretaker "Waqa" will be available as much or as little as you wish. You will be greeted by our Caretaker "Waqa" who is a local Fijian and can assist you with whatever you need. He will be available to you 24/7 while you are at our home. Him and his wife Senikau and daughter jj live in the lower barre on the property. They are wonderful people and I am sure you will love them. They will be available whenever needed and also give you complete space and privacy at all times. Our home is situated on Malolo Island which is a barrier reef island only accessible by boat or helicopter. It is a 40 minute boat ride from Nadi on the main island where you will fly into. Malolo Island is semi-remote with no cars, but with easy access to a small market, restaurants and to many activities. The perfect balance and with access to your own boat and captain daily, you can explore the whole area, inquire about pricing daily with your own boat and captain. Our home is also directly across from Tavarua and Namotu Island and only a 15 minute boat ride to all of the world class breaks. Note: There is a 50 yard moderate incline from the dock to reach our home. Bula! A warm welcome to you from Vatu Vonu! I wanted to go over your travel details and review some information you may find helpful. By letting me know the following information, I can best ensure your trip will go smoothly. Getting to Vatu Vonu can take a little bit of effort, but it is worth every second of it and we will do everything to make it as easy and smooth as possible. Overview: Vatu Vonu or “Turtle Rock” is located 26 miles off the mainland of Viti Levu. You will be greeted by our arrival team when you land. From there you will take a 30 minute taxi ride to Denarau where you will board your private fast boat. Our caretaker Waqa and staff will be there to greet you and to help you up a short 50 yard incline to our home where you can take in the breathtaking views of the Pacific Barrier Reef and relax by the pool and soak in the magic of Fiji and as we say in Fiji “vahewa” ...slow down ;) GUEST INFORMATION Please send the names of all guests as appear on their passports and ages for children. Sleeping arrangements: We have a Master burre with ensuite and two separate suites with their own ensuites. Each room has a King size bed and a single bed. FLIGHTS Please send us your Flights and arrival and departure information. GROUND TRANSPORTATION Our arrival team will be there to meet you when you land in Nadi. They will have your name written on a sign when you arrive. They will take you to Denarau and along the way can stop for some coffee or breakfast and do a little shopping if you like at the grocery or wine store. Denarau is about a 35 minute drive from the airport. There is also a little market at the Denarau Marina. WATER TRANSPORTATION Private Fast Boat: Your own comfortable private fast boat will pick you up at Denarau at a selected time depending on your flights. It takes up to 8 guests with all your luggage, boards, gear and all supplies straight to the villa in 30 minutes. GROCERIES AND MEALS AND BEVERAGES - Options: It is quite difficult as you can imagine to get groceries to the island. Waqa and his wife Senikau are amazing cooks and give you a wonderful array of different tropical local cuisine with fresh herbs and fruits and vegetables from our garden. For lunches you can take the boat to Musket Cove and eat at one of the restaurants or purchase snacks and grocery items at the little market on Musket Cove. All of the shopping, transportation, cooking and cleanup is included. Breakfast and Dinner Please let us know any preferences or food allergies). Note: Lunch is not included as most people are out and about during the day. Also remember you can shop for drinks, snacks and sweets at Denarau when you arrive. There is also a small market on Musket Cove and you can always head over there anytime you like with your boat (7 minute boat ride) and pick up any extras. NOTE: There isn’t any liquor available for purchase on either Malolo Island or Musket Cove. Cases of beer and bottles of wine are available for purchase from the cafe on Musket Cove. PRIVATE LONG BOAT AND CAPTAIN Your own longboat and captain will be available for you daily for a total of 8 hours from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Waqa will introduce you to the captain and help you make arrangements for your daily plans of surfing or snorkeling, adventuring or island hopping. **Long exploration rides will be an additional charge. Please check with us or Waqa RENTALS You can rent kayaks and stand up boards from Funky Fish below the house for around $15 per day. We recommend you bring your own surfboards, snorkel gear and spinning rods if you want to do some fun fishing during your stay. SURFING VatuVonu is about a 15 minute boat ride to Fiji’s best surf breaks including Cloudbreak, Swimming Pools, Namotu Lefts, Wilkes, Restaurants and Tavarua rights. These are all easily accessible by your boat and are levels from beginners to expert depending on the tides and swells. OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES: Here is a list of some other Activities. Our caretaker will be there to help bring up all of your luggage. Once you arrive to Nadi, Fiji...you will be guided by our land and sea transport team. You will be staying on a fairly secluded island, so your private boat is highly recommended and will be your "car" for the week.
