Self check-in available. Pets welcome with approval and ad The space Welcome to Grandma’s Suite, a private accessory apartment attached to a remodeled Tudor-style home in Juneau’s Mendenhall Valley. The apartment is priced for up to two guests, with a third guest welcome upon request. An additional $30 ($34.20 including tax) nightly charge applies to each additional person beyond two and each additional animal. Because our booking system does not automatically calculate these charges, any applicable additional fees will be collected separately after your reservation is confirmed. ### Your Private Apartment The suite includes: * Private bedroom with a queen-sized bed * Reading lights * Nightstand and dresser * TV * Walk-in closet * Private bathroom * Open living area * Kitchen * Dining area * Sitting area with sofa/daybed * Additional closet space You’ll have a designated parking space directly in front of your private entrance and porch. Grandma’s Suite was built in the early 1990s for Great Grandma McBride. The apartment has its own exterior entrance and can also be accessed from the main house through an interior door. Both entry doors have deadbolt locks. ### Shared Home Although the apartment is your private space and contains your sleeping accommodations, you are welcome to enjoy the common areas of the main house and its community atmosphere. Please note: * Sleeping is not permitted in the main house. * Pets and animals are not permitted inside the main house. * Your private apartment is where your sleeping arrangements are located. ### Location Grandma’s Suite is conveniently located in Mendenhall Valley: * Mendenhall Glacier — 2 miles * Juneau International Airport — 2.5 miles * University of Alaska — 4.5 miles * Juneau Ferry Terminal — 6 miles * Downtown Juneau — 10.3 miles The city bus stop is just steps from the front door, making it possible to explore Juneau without a vehicle. ### Check-In & Check-Out Self check-in makes late arrivals easy. Your lockbox code will be provided a few days before arrival. Check-in: 4 PM Check-out: 11 AM Early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional $25–$50 fee depending on the requested schedule and availability. Please inquire a couple of days before arrival or departure. ### Pet Policy Pets are welcome with prior approval. An additional nightly pet fee applies, and monthly pet fees may be available for longer stays.
