If you want to enjoy the house, you can do so; it is a house with large spaces and a wonderful, very private garden surrounded by high walls. To enjoy the garden at its best, for stays of more than 10 nights, you may need us to provide some maintenance. The space BEAUTIFUL TOWNHOUSE WITH GARDEN, PERFECT FOR WINE TOURISM, for groups of friends, families, business trips, etc. On the ground floor, there is a large living/dining room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a pantry, and a lovely double-height dining room in what used to be the house's former stable, with another direct access to the covered dining area. ON THE GROUND FLOOR there is also a bedroom and a bathroom with easy access. THE FIRST FLOOR has three bedrooms, a reading area, and a bathroom. THE HOUSE HAS A SECLUDED BACKYARD of 600 square meters, surrounded by high stone walls, ensuring privacy. The garden features a PORCH WITH A BBQ, another porch for relaxing, and a cool, spacious pergola with a large granite table underneath, ideal for summer meals. LOCATION: It is situated on a plateau 700 meters above sea level, and from the surrounding areas, you can enjoy beautiful “aerial” views of the pine forests and farmland, as well as distant towns on the horizon. It is located 5 minutes from the famous Golden Mile of Spanish wine, La Ribera del Duero. You can organize visits in that area and enjoy its excellent wines. The surrounding area is a vast sandy pine forest with shifting dunes, the only place on the peninsula, along with Doñana, where these dunes exist. FLORA In the pine forest, two species of pine coexist: Scots pine and maritime pine, and you can visit some unique specimens that are spectacular due to their size: “El Pino de la Nieve” and “El Pino de la Canaleja.” The area is a starting point for various routes that can be covered on foot, by bike, or even on horseback. The area is a mycological area of special interest. Continuing with the promotion of mycotourism in the province of Valladolid, the MyasRC project, together with the City Councils of Cogeces del Monte and La Parrilla, have organized two mycological routes in the Miconaturval trail network that runs through the surroundings of these two towns. THE FAUNA GASTRONOMY After walking you can taste the exquisite dishes of the area: soups with crust, milk of churra in the oven, hornazos, typical sweets of the village, good wines of the denominations of Castilla y León ... PEACE AND QUIET At night, you can gaze at the beautiful starry sky from the house's garden while chatting, listening to music, or simply enjoying the sound of silence. The house is 30 minutes from Valladolid, Peñafiel, and Olmedo, among many other towns and places of interest. In the village, there is a large, tree-lined swimming pool with a huge lawn area that you can walk to, as it is only 200 meters from the house. For stays longer than 10 nights, especially in spring and summer, the garden may need occasional maintenance to keep it looking beautiful and well cared for at all times.
