On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. Shirley’s Cottage is a delightful two bedroom property in the lovely village of Middlezoy, Somerset. It has been refurbished in 2019 and has a lovely conservatory area leading on to the garden, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying evening meals al fresco. Middlezoy is a peaceful village with a local pub, community shop and recreation park. Also situated in this charming village is a boutique health spa which accepts day visitors and also has an on-site eatery. It is a great base from which to explore the Quantocks or North Coast of Somerset, why not head for a day out on the West Somerset Railway taking you from Taunton to Minehead via steam train, or pop to Clarks Village in Street and spend the day indulging in some retail therapy before heading back and relaxing in front of the multi-fuel burner in the comfortable living room. The coastal resorts of Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-super-Mare and Minehead make a great day out for all ages. Walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the Mendip Hills, The Quantocks and along the Somerset Levels. A visit to Cheddar Gorge with its quaint town and interesting gorge and caves is a popular tourist attraction, as is the Glastonbury Tor and Abbey and slightly further, the beautiful cathedral at Wells. There are also several RSPB sites nearby for you to enjoy the delights of the wild birds around this area of the Somerset Levels. Beach 15 miles. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
