The Pied Bull

Dating from 1155, The Pied Bull is located within the walls of the Roman city of Chester. It features its own microbrewery and bar serving a wide selection of ales, wines and beers. Parking is available at nearby car parks. All rooms have private bathrooms. Each is equipped with a working area, TV and facilities for making tea and coffee. The Pied Bull features an on-site restaurant serving freshly prepared food using locally sourced ingredients where possible. Guests can choose from a wide menu including fresh fish and steaks. This traditional coaching inn is located on the west side of Northgate Street just past the Town Hall and near Chester Market. The Pied Bull was the winner of CH1 Chester Bid Customer Service Award for Best Hotel/B&B 2019. The Premier Suite is the largest room at The Pied Bull and features traditional Jacobean wooden paneling. Facilities include free WiFi, a 48-inch flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
