No Car Needed on the island. You can use the low-cost Circuit App for golf cart travel during the day. Our island also has all the regular ride shares available 24/7 through their respective apps 🏖 One Bedroom King Bed condo-hotel unit, about 390 square foot with a private bathroom in a beautiful Spanish colonial style building built in 1926 as a 300 + unit hotel. You will have the unit to yourself. Fresh linens, towels, coffee machine and K-Cups, we even have beach chairs and and a beach umbrella in the unit for you . -There is a Publix market across the street with all of the food and drink including a great wine selection for your stay at the beach. The apartment is equipped; -King bed -Freshly made bed with sheets, blankets and pillows -Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and blow drier -Two Smart 4K Roku TV's -Fresh towels; Please note, we are an Airbnb/vacation rental. We supply two sets of Fresh towels per stay, additional towels can be supplied at additional charge through my cleaning company. It requires at least a one day notification. Charges vary depending on quantity. There is coin operated laundry room in the building if you need to do laundry. -Keurig coffee machine with a couple of K-cups to start you out -Breakfast bar with microwave, dishes, cups and flatware -Mini Fridge -Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella -Colorful beach towels -2 HD smart TV with apps -Fast dedicated Wi-fi in unit for working and streaming -AC and Dehumidifier that you control -Iron and mini iron board -Keyless entry lock on unit All you need are your clothes. If you need supplies, just walk across the street to the Publix supermarket. They even have prepared foods and wine. Parking: Parking pass included for street parking Valet parking available at additional cost Important Note; Regarding Cleaning, your unit will be made up with clean sheets, towels, soaps and paper products prior to your arrival. The cleaning charge is for the departure cleaning and does not include service during your stay. We also start you out with a standard supply of paper products that is normally sufficient for a four to five day stay. If additional paper products are needed there is a market across the street that you can pick some up. If you want additional cleanings they can be arranged but will be at an additional charge. There is a laundry room in the building and Publix shopping market across the street, they will have soaps and supplies. ***Important Note; if you are staying more than seven days there will be additional cleaning charges based on the stay and your needs. Please discuss this with me in advance of booking.*** Guest access I will send a message through Airbnb a day before your arrival, or with in 60 minutes if booking the same day. They are open 24/7 for check in. Please let me know if you will be arriving after 11 pm to check in. Other things to note Unit Size & Expectations This is a small, private one-bedroom unit (approximately 380 square feet). It is thoughtfully laid out, comfortable, and ideal if you’re looking for a cozy place to relax or “crash” while enjoying the area. We’re located just a block and a half from the beach, on one of the most exclusive islands in the U.S., in a beautiful 100-year-old historic building. Many guests love the unbeatable location and value, but we want to be very clear: this is a compact space. If you appreciate charm, efficiency, and being steps from the beach, we think you’ll find it cute, cozy, and perfect for your stay. Please be sure the size works for you before booking, as this helps ensure a great experience for everyone. Parking Information (Important) Our building does not have dedicated parking. All parking is street parking only. We offer valet parking at an additional cost. Valet uses a town-issued parking placard for legal street parking. The town does actively ticket, and we are not responsible for parking citations. Parking Placard Availability: Please note that if a previous guest fails to return the parking placard, it may not be available during your stay. This reservation is not contingent on parking placard availability. Parking placards must be returned at checkout. Missing placards incur a $200 replacement charge due to the cost and administrative requirements imposed by the town. Historic Building Notice The building was originally constructed in 1925. Like any historic property, occasional inconveniences can occur. There is new management and many new private owners (myself included) actively investing in restoring and upgrading this beautiful building. From time to time, there may be: Short water shutoffs (typically an hour or two) Maintenance or upgrade work taking place in the building We truly appreciate your patience as we modernize the infrastructure while preserving the charm and character of this historic gem.
