Manuka Lodge Bed & Breakfast

A modern luxury Bed & Breakfast with four en-suite guest rooms, located in a quiet secluded cul-de-sac only a 10 minute walk away from the shops, bars and eateries of Ohakune township. Great location for exploring the Tongariro National Park. The space Manuka Lodge, purpose built in 2008 by Susie and Alan, is designed to offer first rate year-round Bed & Breakfast accommodation for travellers exploring the North Island's Central Plateau. We don't have kitchen facilities on offer but all our rooms do have en-suite bathrooms, with tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, T.V, fluffy robes, slippers and hairdryers. Towels and linen are also provided. Everything you would expect to find in a quality hotel room. Rooms are are sold separately and price is per room per night for 2 people sharing. We offer 3 Super-King bedded rooms. Two of these rooms can take an additional single bed if required. The 4th room is a smaller Queen bedded room with disabled access open shower en-suite. A copious breakfast is provided every morning: cereal, yoghurt and fruit to start, with a choice of two full cooked options to follow and homemade bread/toast to cap it off/mop it up. Freshly ground French press coffee, too. You won't go away hungry. For dinner and lunch we have quality restaurants, bars and cafes only a short 10 minute walk away. Guest access There is a very comfortable guest lounge and dining area with sumptuous sofas, SKY TV and a beautiful stone-surround log fire place. Also a lovely deck and outdoor seating areas looking out across native planting to Mount Ruapehu. The HotSpring spa pool is wonderful on clear starry nights. We also have a drying room, with ample space for hanging outdoor gear. During your stay We're pretty much always around the house. We have our own separate private lounge, which allows us to give guests attention, or leave them in peace as required.
