The Lions at 55 London Road

In addition to our B&B, we have 2 more rooms - a Double & Twin (which we never let together - unless families or friends ask) so there is sole use of the shower room. We supply tea/coffee, water & toiletries and a TV in each room. Breakfast included. The space The Lions is a boutique B&B in a beautiful detached Georgian Town House in London Road, Newark, it was built in 1823 and was used as a school in the early days. The Lions has been renovated to a high standard and opened for guests on 20th March 2015. The property comprises of three bed rooms - a twin room, a double and a king sized. All with en-suite facilities. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to a reading room that is tastefully decorated and traditionally furnished. It offers an ample selection of books and magazines. It also has a log burning stove, that when the weather is cold, is lit after 6pm. The guests are welcome to use the lovely garden. During your stay This is entirely up to our guests: The Lions is a real home from home but we respect the view of our guests provide them with the level of interaction that they want.
