The space Our recently renovated, sunny, light-filled waterfront cottage is tucked away down a quaint scenic road looking right over the water on a beautiful, clean lake. Great for relaxing on the large wrap-around deck steps from the water. Kayaks, swimming, sunning, relaxing. Clean, Bass fed lake. Surrounded by State Forest with walking, biking, hiking trails from your doorstep. Large open concept comfortable LR, DR, fully appointed kitchen with island, high-speed Internet, 2 cozy bedrooms, full bath, laundry. New, large open wraparound deck great for kids, relaxing, dining, new propane grill, fully applianced kitchen with MW, toaster, DW, full size fridge. Air-conditioning, mini-split ductless A/C and heat, and modern baseboard heaters in each room. Hardwood floors, lots of windows, skylights, bright rooms with lake and scenic views. Books, games, toys, coffee and tea are always available. Off road parking on site. The peaceful and quiet cottage is ideal for a getaway, a writers retreat, or a waterfront family vacation. Explore the lakes many coves, islands and scenic areas by swimming or kayaks steps from your door. Tranquil, unique, quaint, scenic location. Water fun: Steps to water where you will find a picnic table, dock, Kayak or two, and paddle board. Small cooler, beach umbrella, beach chairs and blanket also available for your use to visit the nearby spectacular beaches in Westerly, Charlestown, Mystic and Stonington. Other things to note We look forward to hosting you! Before booking, please read and confirm that you accept our few but firm house rules to ensure that this will be a good fit for you. -ABSOLUTELY NO parties or events. - Only the registered # guests (maximum 4) permitted on the property at all times. -No smoking, candles, or pets -Quiet hours after 10 pm. This lake is generally quiet and noise carries extensively over the water. Guests not adhering to these few but firm rules will be asked to leave immediately and risk losing their security deposit. When requesting to book, it would be helpful if you would please include a brief note about what brings you to this area, number of guests, and if there is anything that would be helpful for us to know so we can assist you with your stay.
