The Windsor Trooper

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cozy rooms to welcome you. Just a short walk from the town center as well as the castle it is the perfect location to stay whether you’re sightseeing, having a mini break or here for business, being in the heart of the residential part of town, The Windsor Trooper provides the best of everything Windsor has to offer. The Windsor Trooper is one of the most popular pubs in town, you’ll be presented with a warm welcome before sitting down to have a drink in the pub or wonderful sun trap garden. The bar stocks a fabulous selection of ales, traditional cider, a wide choice of Belgian beers, a fine wine selection and a large batch of gins, there is literally something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday as well as a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. You’ll be hard-pushed to find a better atmosphere in Windsor. Please note the Pub opens daily from 11am, therefore we do not offer breakfast. We are proud winners of the Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMRA Real Cider Pub of the Year 2022 & 2023, we consistantly have 10 Tradional Ciders available so when you visit why not try them out for yourself and see why we’re the best around! All rooms at the Trooper have private entrances, they all have ensuite shower rooms with toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and TV. The 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for a Family with young children, due to it's layout the apartment is not recommended for 4 adults. There are many cafes near by that will provide Breakfast and reasonably priced paid parking can be found nearby, we do not have storage for bicycles. The Small Double Rooms are located on the First and Second Floors above the Pub. The room has a TV, Dressing table, Hanging Space, Kettle and En-suite Shower Room. Please note the two Small Double rooms are above the Courtyard of the Pub so Noise may be heard until midnight. This room can only be set up as a Double
