Sleeps up to 16. Beloved by travelers from around the world. A must stay. The space The Lassen area is an undiscovered jewel. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, site seeing, bird watching--all without the crowding and traffic of other get aways like Tahoe or the wine country. NOTE: This is NOT a party house, it is our home where we live over half the year. We expect our guests to respect it hopefully as they do their own. Note that we have a 4 night minimum on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Guest access The trout stream has been restored to sylvan condition, with brown and rainbow trout, some up to 2 pounds. Catch and release! In addition to the house, stream and 20 acre backyard, we have two kayaks and a canoe for nearby Lake McCumber. Our house guidebook lists a wide array of cool attractions and trips in the area. DOGS: We will welcome dogs after advance approval only. Dogs are NOT allowed on furniture. There is an additional $100 charge per dog. Other things to note Sit on the deck or in the hot tub and watch the wild birds at the feeders!
