Our three level rowhouse includes a main floor with an open concept living space and kitchen making it the perfect gathering space. Basement in-law suite with kitchenette allows for max privacy for a large group. Located on University Ave. steps from UChicago and easy access to the lakefront trail and beaches as well as to downtown via Metra or express bus. A short walk to downtown Hyde Park. NOTE: Registered guests only. No parties. Thanks! The space FIRST FLOOR Living room - Seating area for 6-7 with chaise lounge sofa, arm chair and 55" SmartTV. Kitchen-custom built reclaimed wood island with raised breakfast bar. Open access makes cooking and socializing easy. Sun room- space with books and toys make for a comfy play space for the kiddos (or adults). From there, sliding doors open out onto a patio with charcoal BBQ, lawn and garden, serving as a wonderful oasis away from the city after a busy day! Powder room- simple, classic design. SECOND FLOOR The second floor includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a laundry room. BED AND BATH ONE Features large glass sliding doors opening onto a Juliet balcony, a warm, fluffy area rug, and full closet for storage. Your bath features a large, open shower and reclaimed wood vanity with a huge sink, all features that are consistent with a relaxing, uplifting vibe. Your bed is a full and sleeps two. Flat screen TV includes local channels. -BEDROOM TWO The front bedroom features a super comfy Queen bed, computer/work table, closet and high ceilings. -BATH TWO This bath includes a bathtub/shower with a handheld sprayer and multiple spray settings. We especially like the classic tile patterns! -BEDROOM THREE This room is smaller though cozy. This room has a bunk bed with two twin mattresses. This room sleeps two children or small adults. For safety reasons, we ask that guests avoid sleeping on the top bunk if you weigh more than 100 lbs. BASEMENT STUDIO This self- sufficient living space includes a queen bed, living room, kitchenette and full bath. Super cozy and cool! Come, relax, enjoy! We are steps away from the University of Chicago and a 10 minute walk to the main commercial district that includes restaurants, a cute market, and other shops. Spend your mornings exploring the historic homes district (including President Obama's) or take in the lakeshore as we are just 15 minutes away by foot. Hop on an express bus, Metra or "L" and be almost anywhere in central Chicago in 30 minutes. Parking here is FREE and plentiful! Guest access Street parking right in front of the house is PLENTIFUL. Walk to all necessities including grocery stores, restaurants and public transportation. Metra, subway or bus to downtown all around 30-45 minutes.
