Casa "Alba" - Farmhouse on Lake Como

"Alba" is one of the three apartments inside the Conca Sandra Agritourism, obtained in a historic building surrounded by the greenery of our organic farm. Here, a short distance from Lake Como and Varenna (20 minutes of very steep walking/5 minutes by car), you will breathe a timeless atmosphere: a flower garden, an olive grove in which to walk, the cultivated countryside, the lake and the mountain in the background. Our facility is entirely eco-sustainable. The space The apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a kitchen, and a bathroom. The room has a lovely balcony overlooking the olive grove, with views of the mountains and the valley. The traditional-style floor and wooden doors have been preserved and enhanced, to create a unique environment with an ancient flavor that recalls the authenticity of the countryside. In the bright living room there is a modern and fully equipped kitchen, equipped with an induction cooktop, microwave, and refrigerator. In addition to the dining area, there is a comfortable armchair bed and a flat-screen smart TV. The apartment has air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. “Alba” is an apartment furnished with taste and extreme attention to detail: the wrought iron bed, the floral paintings and the embroidered curtains create a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. Outside the apartment, a rose garden and an olive grove – one of the northernmost in the world – are at your disposal: here you can sunbathe, relax, read a book, or enjoy the sunset while drinking a glass of wine produced by our company. The large outdoor space is equipped with deck chairs, various areas equipped with tables, and a gazebo. An outdoor fireplace for barbecues will also be at your disposal. At our small store, you can also buy and taste not only organic fruit and vegetables, but also our processed products – such as oil, honey, juices, and jams. In addition to “Alba,” two other apartments are available at our farmhouse: “Tramonto” and “Mezzogiorno.” Guest access The apartment is in the center of the village in a pedestrian area, in a quiet and safe area. Free public parking is a few meters from the property. The property has three apartments, the garden is private and fenced but shared with other possible guests of the other two apartments. For those arriving by train: Varenna and the station can also be reached on foot in about 25 minutes of walking, the road is uphill and very steep, otherwise you can reach us by bus or taxi. Other things to note There is a municipal tourist tax of €2.00 per person per night to be paid in cash upon your arrival (children excluded, for a maximum of 5 nights). Check-in and check-out outside the indicated time is possible ONLY upon request. Varenna and the train station can be reached in a couple of minutes by car or on foot in about 20 minutes of walking on a very steep uphill road.
