Uitzicht is one of four guest cottages on our farm. It's our most secluded and most romantic retreat set under the blue gum forest with its a private garden and wood fire hot tub and outdoor braai area. The space Eikehof is a small, boutique guest farm just outside Worcester, set along the Breede River Valley wine route. At its heart is a historic manor house dating back to 1791, alongside four private cottages, each thoughtfully decorated and quietly individual. The farm is home to a variety of animals — including donkeys, horses, chickens, and turkeys — as well as orchards of fruit and citrus, a flourishing olive grove, and a small-batch Pinotage vineyard. It’s a working farm, shaped by nature and season, and a place to slow down and enjoy simple, beautiful surroundings. Guest access Your hosts, Ishmael and Natalya, along with our farm manager Gavin, live on the property and are nearby should you need anything during your stay. Natalya also offers optional on-site meals, including breakfasts, homemade lasagnas, and relaxed braai boxes using locally sourced meats and vegetables. If you’d like to see her menu, just let us know. Other things to note Eikehof is home to a number of farm animals, including free-roaming chickens and turkeys, as well as our donkeys and dogs. Our heads of hospitality are our black lab, Riot, and golden retriever, Modi, who often like to say hello, but we completely understand that not everyone is comfortable around dogs — just let us know and we’ll be happy to keep them from visiting.
