The pictures represent the 3 upstairs sleeping areas well. In order to list the day bed with trundle (can be used as a queen or separated into two singles) in the upstairs open room between the two bedrooms (area listed as an "office"), we have listed this bed(s) in bedroom 1, which only has a king. The "single" bed in bedroom 2 with the king is a roll-away stored in one of that bedroom's two closets. This room is very large and also has room to open up the provided Pack-n-Play. We also own and rent the unit next door, which can accommodate 6 guests. Gore Creek is designated Colorado Gold Medal Waters for fishing. The summer swimming pool and year-round hot tub are available to all guests. Although we live in Texas, we are always available via phone or e-mail for questions or concerns. We have an excellent housekeeper and handyman available on short notice. Ptarmigan is a townhome community consisting of 38 units. Many residents are full-time. It is located outside of Vail Village and Lionshead, but in walking distance of both, weather permitting. It is easy access to West Vail amenities, including grocery stores, pharmacy, wine and liquor, inexpensive ski rental and many restaurant options. Car not needed! An automobile is nice but we have guests who arrive without a car. The free Vail shuttle bus stops at least twice an hour from at least 6 am to midnight. The Cascade Lift is a three-minute bus ride; buses have ski and bike racks. The "common" sleeping area is not private, but is the open vaulted ceiling area at the top of the stairs that lies between the front and back/creek-side bedrooms. The pictures represents it well. The closest selection offered was "Sofa bed." It is actually a daybed with a trundle. The trundle can be pulled out from under the daybed, raised to the daybed height and make a queen or separate the beds and make two singles. The "floor mattress" listed in bedroom 2 is actually a folding bed stored in one of the two closets. "Floor mattress" was closest option offered. We have owned and successfully rented this townhome since 2013 and the townhome next door since 1990. We pride ourselves on providing enjoyable accommodations to which many guests return.
