Cosy apartment in the heart of the historic area: within walking distance of the nightlife of BAIRRO ALTO and SANTOS, the historic monuments in Belém and close to São Jorge Castle (tram stop 2 mins away). Easy access to the beaches of ESTORIL and CASCAIS (by train). It's ideal for people coming to work or wishing to visit Lisbon, but away from the hustle and bustle! The perfect holiday! The space 34711/AL - Located on a historical area of Lisbon, This small and renovated appartement has 1 small double bedroom and a living room with sofa and small dinning table, with TV and wifi. Small equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge and freezer, stove, microwave, nespresso machine and toaster. If you don't have anything planned...I can assist you with suggestions of what to see or where to go...Just glad if you can enjoy Lisbon and everything it has to offer. Small traditional neighbourhood...very quiet but close to everything. Local stores around (small pastry cafés, bookstores, restaurants, groceries stores...) you can walk safe around the all area... close to the Portuguese parliament. From Airport : Take the subway ( RED LINE GOING TO SAO SEBASTIAO).. Then get out on ALAMEDA...get on the GREEN LINE GOING TO CAIS DO SODRE..get out on BAIXA CHIADO... Make sure you take the street exit going to LARGO DO CARMO...then it's 15/20 mns walk... there's a big statue...pass that and continue on the street that goes up ( street where the tram goes)... Go up that street and then you have a big descent...you will pass a church on your right side going down...continue going down...when you see a dark red building...take that street...on top of the street there's a car parking and another big church...the house it's just on the street next to that one...RUA DO VALE The Local bus ( station is just down the street ) can take you to Belém with all big monuments from our discovery years ( Torre de Belem, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Coches Museum) and the famous Pastel de Nata pastry...or take the famous 28 tram to the São Jorge Castle built by the Mouros at Lisbon, where you can have a drink while overlooking the city or dinner earing the traditional Fado, tram also goes through Estrela where you have the famous Basílica and a huge garden and other typical small neighbourhoods like Madragoa. Walking distance to all the city night live ,no car needed at this location as theres a good range of bus/ tram to everywhere...20 mns walking there's the train station to ESTORIL/CASCAIS area with sand beachs.. I can organize transport with trusted local taxi to Sintra Castle and surroundings, price to be discussed. Also don't forget to visit Cristo Rei on the other side of the river...you can take the boat to the other side just next to the train station...and then take a bus directly to the monument... And if you like to visit something more modern, take the bus to Expo 98 area where you have the Vasco da Gama shopping and the huge Oceanario with a wide range of sea live diversity.
