Renovated apartment in historic hause from the 1900s, located just 130 meters from the Como-Brunate Funicular station. The flat in the historic center in the pedestrian area allows you to reach restaurants, cafes and shops within minutes. Excellent starting point also for excursions to the mountains of Brunate with variety of routes both on foot and by bicycle. The proximity to the Funicular station allows you to reach the city of Como in 10 minutes without a car. The apartment has a kitchen complete with dishwasher with relative detergent, oven, induction hob,moka for coffee,kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer, washing machine plus detergents. The second bedroom is furnished with a sofa that converts into two single beds or a double bed. The completely renovated bathroom has a shower. On the side of the second bedroom you will have a small terrace with table and chairs. ON REQUEST it is possible to have a cot for a child 0/2 years in the double room. The apartment is at guests' complete disposal. There are stairs to reach the apartment. The private parking is located in the "Volta park" at the beginning of the pedestrian area where the house is located. I give space to my guests but I am available when they need Brunate is a small town called "Balcony on the Alps" for the splendid views from which to admire the Alpine Arch, the Apennines, and the Po Valley. Rich in nature, forests and sometimes encounters with its fauna (moufflons, fawns and badgers), it is a place where those seeking peace and tranquility certainly find it. Moreover, along its walks in the country, you can admire the art nouveau villas, the interesting church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo, and small chapels like the church of the Madonna di Pompei or the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Zone "Ai Piani". Going up towards the hamlet of San Maurizio you will find the famous Voltiano Lighthouse erected in 1927 from which you will enjoy a breathtaking view, and the church of San Maurizio. The Sanctuary of Santa Rita in the CAO district is worth a visit. Coming down from the valley along a pleasant pedestrian path that leads to Como, we will meet the Hermitage of San Donato, a cult building no longer inhabited that was built by the Franciscan friars in the 1400s. Having said that for those who love not only tranquility, Brunate is the ideal country to reach worldliness in the nearby cities of Milan at about 40 km or Lugano at about 35 km and Como in 5 km. The proximity to the Funicular station also allows those who are not drivers to move easily from Brunate to the city of Como in just 10 minutes; moreover arrived in Como the "Trenord" railway station for Milan is 450 m. From the long Lario Trieste there is a bus stop to the Como San Giovanni station of "Trenitalia" which can be reached in about 10 minutes by public transport or in about 16 minutes on foot (1.7 km). The apartment is also an excellent starting point for excursions to the mountains of Brunate with a variety of itineraries on foot or by bicycle.
