Plenty of natural light and windows. The house is located on a rural main road, so no off-roading required. Neighbors are approx 1 acre away - close enough not to feel isolated, but far away enough to have privacy. Outdoor area is unfenced. LIVING/DINING: Split system air conditioner/heater with leather couch. Board games available in the drawers. TV with Netflix ONLY. KITCHEN: Beautiful copper farmhouse sink with quartz countertop, refrigerator/freezer, induction cooktop (accommodates 2 burners, microwave, kettle, cookware (basic utensils) toaster and coffee/tea. Basic cookware for the induction top. NO OVEN or mixing/salad bowls. This is not a fully decked out kitchen for serious cooks! Repeat, there is no oven and this is a very basic kitchen! BEDROOM 1: Queen size bed with a split system air-conditioner/heater for a comfortable sleep. BEDROOM 2: Queen size bed with a split system air-conditioner/heater for a comfortable sleep. BATHROOM: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer and towels supplied. OUTDOOR: Fire pit - The fire department have strict regulations throughout the year, and ability to use the pit is wind/temperature dependent. Please request the fire department number from us before your stay if this is a feature you wish to use. BYO firewood and matches. PARKING: Ample parking on site for cars/trucks/trailers. GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING: Please be respectful of our home – NO PARTIES and strictly no loud noise after 10pm as noise travels in the desert, and we want to keep our neighbors happy! Please show general courtesy and kindness to our housekeepers who work hard to keep the place clean for our guests. Please do your part in such as cleaning the dishes before you leave - this is so appreciated! Our housekeepers are lovely family people and you are supporting them through your stay. Unfortunately if the place is left beyond acceptable, as deemed by our housekeepers, additional charges will have to be directly forwarded to you. **Strictly NO smoking indoors - including cannabis. **No pets allowed (sorry, we love animals but we try to minimize allergens where possible for the comfort of our future guests). Guest access Easy check-in with keypad entry - code provided prior to arrival. Other things to note SUMMER HEAT: If the house has been unoccupied and outdoor temperatures are above 95F, the house will take some time to cool down. Please be patient as it will eventually cool. If heat isn’t for you, consider coming to the desert at another time of the year where the temperatures are cooler! INDUCTION STOVE TOP: This is not the same as an electric stove top and is very temperature controlled. Only works with induction-safe cookware - all our cookware is induction safe.
