It is the perfect location only a minutes walk from the many bars, restaurants and boutiques and from the main piazza in the pedestrian marble and cobbled streets. The lounge /diner with an antique decorative brick fireplace typical of an Italian medieval town house. We provide a smart tv with a large range of DVD's as well as a selection of books and guide books on the area and a full information brochure with maps and recommendations. Unlimited free Internet access is also available. The opening shuttered front windows by the extending dining table (seats 4) look out to the piazza. The marble stairs lead up to the large family character bathroom with high original wood beamed ceiling and window looking into a cobbled street. It features a w.c , bidet, basin with vanity unit and mirror, heated towel rail, radiator and bath with shower over. The double bedroom with king size bed has the same original high wooden beamed ceiling with side tables and lamps and 2 double wardrobes. The bedroom has air-conditioning if you need it at a cost of €7 a day payable on arrival on request. It is only usually necessary in July and August. Fans are provided to use throughout the rest of the year. There is also a small table and 2 chairs and french doors leading to a small south facing Juliette balcony with views over the sunny piazza. Included in our prices, we provide all bathroom towels and bed linen (changed weekly), a welcome pack including wine, and a full brochure of recommended restaurants, things to see and do in the area,maps and local events. If you require beach towels, these can be provided with advance notice, one per person per stay (up to 2 towels) There is free street car parking and several car parks including a secure multi-story car park all only 2 mins walk from the house should you need it. We provide a parking map of all the free spaces before arrival. It is an ideal base for couples wishing to explore the beautiful town and for a beach holiday or city break. Vasto has everything right on it's doorstep and is ideal for both a city break or a few weeks in the sun on the beach. Unlike most hill towns in Abruzzo, a car is not necessary here. If you want to immerse yourself with the local colour and lifestyle of 'real' Italy, then this house is for you! Guest access We meet and greet all our guests personally and show them to the house. Contactless check-in is also available on request or for very late arrivals. The whole house is for rent and can sleep up to maximum of 2 guests. check in is after 15:00 until 20:00 and check out before 10:00 (we can be flexible on departures time, depending on other bookings) Late arrivals after 20:00 requiring meet and greet may incur an extra charge of €25 and are only accepted by prior arrangement. We accept arrivals on any day of the week. Other things to note All bed linen, bathroom towels are provided and changed once a week. We also provide a welcome pack of tea, coffee, water and wine. We require a €100 security deposit on arrival which we be returned on departure (less breakages) Parking is free street parking at only 3 minutes walk from the house.
