The space This Multi-Unit Queen Ann Victorian was built in the early 1800's and was known in those days as “The Kennedy House”. Each self contained and completely private unit has been upgraded to the highest standards and redesigned with their own unique characteristics. This 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom unit has been redesigned with its own unique characteristics and upgraded to the highest standards. The bedroom features a Queen bed with memory foam mattress, large mirrored closet, ceiling fan, air conditioner and LED Smart TV. The living room has high ceilings, Leather Couch, separate dresser, a ceiling fan and an additional LED Smart TV. Both TV’s come with streaming capability. Wifi is also provided. The kitchen is beautifully designed with granite counters, lots of cabinet space and is fully equipped with everything needed to cook perfect meals. A dining table and chairs are provided in the unit, or perhaps you might choose to dine in the lighted gazebo under the stars located in the common area. The bathroom is completely upgraded and comes equipped with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and all the towels you will need. There pull down stairs with access to a large storage area above the living area that is perfect for storing luggage. It is also the place where the ironing board, beach chairs, high chair and boogie board can be found. Access to the unit is via electronic key pad, so no keys are required. There is a fire pit, firewood and a BBQ located outside as well as a laundry room with soap and dyer softeners provided. The property consists of 3 buildings, the main building, the guest house and a building that was formerly used as a horse barn. Built on the slope above today's current downtown formerly known to residents as “New Town”, this property is designated historic and is surrounded by historic buildings of the period. The proximity of this property to all of the best that San Diego has to offer is very compelling. It's location in a historic district above downtown offers easy access to the energy of the city, beaches, airport, Balboa Park, the Zoo, Sea World, Coronado Island, the Convention Center and 3 major freeways while offering privacy and easy parking. Bus transit stops are located in and out of downtown within a half block of property on both sides of Market St. A trolley station located downtown is walking distance from the property. Access to 3 major freeways are within 1 minute driving distance from the property.
