The Balboa Pier neighborhood is a fun, vital beach and the house is 3 blocks from the Pier and Ferry boat ride to Balboa Island. The house is located about 1 mile from the famous Wedge surf wave. Long stretches of sand out front give views of Catalina Island. The Catalina Flyer boat and day fishing trips available 3 blocks away. One on site parking space and street parking is free. City pay lots are about 4 blocks south at the Pier. A favorite activity is to rent a beach cruiser and pedal to Lido Island or to Huntington Beach for an easy way to see the sights. The City of Newport Beach requires a 10% tourism tax. Airbnb requires this fee be reflected in your rental rate - our apologies.
