Maasresidence Thorn Park is a fully equipped park, located in a beautiful area in the heart of Central Limburg, within walking distance of the white colored town of the same name. The space From your holiday home or harbor apartment you can easily walk to the versatile central building. You can find the reception here and also rent a bicycle or a sloop, for example. At the same time, Humphrey's Restaurant awaits guests with breakfast, lunch and dinner, both inside and outside on one of the terraces. There is a takeaway or delivery service available for your comfort. The same building houses a cafeteria, a lounge bar, a brasserie, a MRT Shop & Bakery and even the Happy Benny Children's Club and a large bowling alley. A little further on, in another building, you and your children can enjoy the beautiful indoor swimming pool which among other things comes equipped with a slide, a whirpool and a separate paddling pool. Sunbathing and lounging on the enclosed outdoor terrace is also a possibility. The marina gives you the possibility to moor your boat or sloop. The beautiful beaches offer you the chance of enjoying all kinds of fun activities when the weather is nice, such as swimming or paddling, surfing, supping, wakeboarding and even e-foiling (a new type of electrically powered surfboard). The park is therefore surrounded by the waters of the Maasplassen, the largest continuous water sports area in the Netherlands! Maasresidence Thorn Park is not only a true Eldorado for water sports enthusiasts, the beautiful natural landscapes in its immediate vicinity are guaranteed to invite you to take a walk (to Thorn) or ride your bike in the area. This detached holiday home of approximately 205 m2, just like all of the 'Premium Water' homes has a backyard which borders the water. So that will be fun! The house itself has a spacious and bright living room with a sitting and dining area complete with a television. The luxurious open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer, a 5-burner induction hob, a filter coffee maker, a dishwasher, a combi oven with a microwave and an extra oven. The house has six bedrooms, two of which are on the ground floor with a shared bathroom which has a sink and a walk-in shower. One bedroom on the ground floor has a box spring double bed, while the other bedroom has two box spring single beds. On the first floor you will find four bedrooms. Two of these have box spring double beds. The other two bedrooms have two box spring single beds. There are also two luxurious bathrooms on the first floor, one with a washbasin and a bathtub and another with a washbasin, a walk-in shower and a sauna. The ground floor has a separate toilet. There are two separate toilets on the first floor. The indoor storage room has a washer-dryer combination. Outside you will find a covered terrace with garden furniture overlooking the water. There is space for three cars in the parking lot next to the house. There is free WiFi throughout the house. By specifying your preferences when booking, additional facilities can be booked. For example, you may even consider an outdoor heater for the terrace. The layout and style of the interior may differ from home to home. From Maasresidence Thorn Park you can walk in less than ten minutes, via the unmissable bridge, to the 'white' town of the same name. The town, which used to be a tiny principality, is therefore known for its striking white-painted houses, monumental buildings and the authentic cobbled streets created with Maas cobblestones. It seems as if you have arrived in a foreign fairytale country. Feel free to take a leisurely stroll through the historical center viewing the nice shops and enjoy the many cozy terraces where you have the chance to taste the most delicious regional specialties. In short: Thorn is well worth the visit! Do you want to visit a completely different kind of place? How about Roermond? This episcopal city has a beautiful historical center. For example, the atmospheric market square is a nice place to choose a terrace with a view of the beautiful Saint Christopher's Cathedral and the town hall. Just a five-minutes walk away from the center you will find yourself at Designer Outlet Roermond, where no fewer than 185 shops and 25 catering establishments await your arrival. If you enjoy shopping, this place is a must see! Another fun and relaxing activity is taking a cruise. It is the ideal way to experience how huge and vast the Maasplassen truly is. You can get on the boat in the city center of Roermond on the Roerkade. It is also possible to take the boat to Roermond directly from the holiday park, making a trip to this city even more fun! Maastricht is also more than worth a visit. Here you will get acquainted with historical buildings and trendy design shops. You may also discover stately churches, museums and terraces full of life. Do you want to get away from the crowd? Then visit the impressive corridor system located under the city. In short: there is a lot to experience in Maastricht! End the day in one of the many restaurants of the city and let yourself be surprised by the tastiest of dishes. A day abroad? No problem! From the holiday park you can easily walk to the Belgian border or visit cities such as Genk and the French-speaking Liège by car. Germany is also just around the corner. Aachen, for example, is a fun place to visit. If you choose this route, take a look at the Drielandenpunt or combine your visit to Aachen with Valkenburg, another beautiful and versatile city. GaiaZOO in Kerkrade is so much fun for the children. You will meet unique animal species, such as red pandas, wolverines, giraffes and gorillas. But what if the children don't want to come along at all? They may want to stay at the park and use the beautiful indoor pool. Because what could be more fun than swimming, splashing around in the water and trying out the slide? Tired of all the water fun? Then hop on a bike. You can enjoy cycling along the floodplains of the Maas, which are surrounded by the most beautiful of nature reserves. With the cycling junction network you can easily plan your own route. When the park opens on April 29, 2022, the restaurant and park store will be open. The park is under construction, phase 1 for the villas will be ready from April 29, 2022. The apartments from August 2022 and rising to the end of October 2022.The swimming pool will be ready in December 2022. At the reception you can not pay cash, only with debit or credit card. In the restaurant and store can be paid in cash. Children's entertainment is available in the Dutch school vacations. By default, all beds in the accommodation are made. If you have booked a crib, you must bring your own bed linen. There is also standard 1 set of towels per person (1 normal and 1 large towel) included. In the kitchen, depending on the booked type, 1 or more sets of kitchen towels are available. Of course you can order extra, if you think you need more. A continuous recreational stay of up to a maximum of 10 nights is possible. Minimum age is 18 years for youth groups, where all persons must be 18 years or older. All homes are expected to be ready in July 2024. The good news for our future guests: Charging your electric vehicle is included in the rental of a home. There are no additional costs involved. We do this to fully relieve our guests of their worries during their stay at our beautiful park and contribute to a sustainable society. Pet costs 5 EUR per pet per day. A final cleaning after pet of 35 EUR per stay will apply.
