Come enjoy the quiet west shore of Lake Tahoe and Bear Haven cabin for year-round fun. Located near the south base of Homewood Mountain Resort, Lagoon Road is family friendly, close to the bike path and backs up to forest! In summer enjoy our full membership of Chamber's Pool, Beach and Tennis Club. In winter, walk down the road to ski and back to the house through the woods for lunch or at the end of the day! Our rustic The space Bear Haven is a cozy 4 bedroom three level A Frame on a quiet street in the forest. The ground level has a king master bedroom, bathroom with a new double vanity and fun game room with a wet bar, fireplace, ping pong and pool table! The midlevel has an open living/kitchen and bedroom with a queen and twin, as well as shared bath with shower. The newly remodeled kitchen has a double oven, gas stove and granite counters. The large decks front and back allow for lots of outdoor entertaining. The new hot tub faces the open forest behind. The top floor has two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The front room has an additional full and the back a twin. Each has a small deck and they share a half bath on the same level. Per the Placer County Short Term Rental regulations the house is limited to 10 adults and 4 children. Price quoted includes 10% lodging tax and a 2% Tahoe Business Visitor Tax Snowplowing, with a new storm the contractor has up to 300 homes to plow. you may have to move snow to access the house. Bear Haven lies at the edge of an old growth forest, with trails directly behind the cabin. For 34 years we have skied into the home from Homewood Mountain Resort in the winter, welcoming a winter full of snow shoeing, cross country skiing, snow play, hot tubbing and a roaring fire. Grandibakken resort a few miles north towards Tahoe City offers fun family activities as well as continued access to skiing Palisades (previously Alpine Meadows) from a West Shore Sunnyside shuttle on weekends. extensive hiking and mountain biking the rest of the year. Guest access You have the privacy of the entire house. Parking is available for several cars and even enough space at street level to park a boat in the summer. Launch is two blocks away. You will have full access in summer to the Chambers Pool, Beach, and Tennis Club for no additional fees. SNOWPLOWING, when there is a new storm the contractor has up to 300 homes to plow. You may have to move snow to get to the house. Other things to note Well behaved pets are welcome and there is a Tahoe leash law to protect the abundant wildlife. We do not require additional pet fees that are so common.
