Just 6 kilometers away is the Erbeskopf, which, with 816 meters above sea level, forms the gateway to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park and offers a breathtaking view from and far. The summer toboggan run, the adventure playground and the high ropes course are known far beyond the region. The complex has also made a name for itself as a winter sports center. Just 15 kilometers away is the world-famous gemstone metropolis of Idar-Oberstein. The entire region is characterized by the design and processing of gemstones. In addition, there are other attractions to discover in the village, such as the castle built in 1528, the historic mill and the historic blacksmith's shop. Since the wine regions Nahe and Mosel are only about 25 kilometers away, it is also worth a visit there. A must-see is the visit of the Roman city of Trier, the oldest city in Germany, about 45 minutes away. Upon entering the house you enter a large hallway with wardrobe, which offers access to living room, dining room, kitchen, stairwell, guest toilet and utility room with washing machine. The living room together with the dining room is about 45 square meters and has a fireplace, a large flat screen, a cozy upholstered seating area and a large dining table. From the living room you can access two outdoor terraces, which invite you to linger in fine weather. The kitchen is equipped with a pantry, stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and toaster. A dining table is available. From the kitchen you can step into the outdoor area by the gable with small ponds for ornamental fish and a covered barbecue. Upstairs are two bedrooms with double beds and a youth room with a wardrobe bed for two children. When the beds are folded up, an open space is created that is great for playing. If needed and on request, this room can also be equipped with two beds for adults. From the two bedrooms you have access to a balcony which offers a great view over Allenbach and the Hunsrück High Forest National Park. Opposite the bedrooms is a bathroom with sink, shower, toilet and bathtub. The cottage is newly furnished in all rooms and equipped to a high standard. Free WiFi access is available. A special highlight is the about 2000 square meter outdoor area, which is framed by shrubs and trees. In addition to the ponds and the barbecue area, there is a large lawn to linger in. About 1600 square meters of the property are completely fenced, so brought dogs can move freely. There are free parking in front of the house.
